On 12 July, the presentation “Digitalization of Sport” was held in the conference hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in which Wladimir Klitschko presented the All-Ukrainian sports portal Mixsport, developed by the team of Jam Development.
The Verkhovna Rada Committee of Ukraine for Issues Concerning Families, youth policy, sports and tourism together with the former boxing champion of the world and the founder of the Mixsport portal Wladimir Klitschko, spoke to representatives of Ukrainian sports federations. The presentation was concerning the “Digitalization of Sport” program, in terms of which the online resource Mixsport was implemented.
This is a portal where everyone can find a sports location, an event or a coach, which he is interested in, in his city.
You can find all the necessary information on the site: address, contact details, ticket prices, user’s reviews etc. Also, you can find articles about sports and a healthy lifestyle which are published on the resource regularly. The portal is functional and available on all electronic devices. Mixsport is useful both for users who keep to an active lifestyle, and sports officials for promoting their services and for highlighting their activities. The project is supported by Google Ukraine.
Wladimir Klitschko encouraged to use the portal and pointed out that digitalization is very important for Ukraine:
“The world has got far ahead in the digitalization of sports. Finally, it has appeared in Ukraine. Digitalization should affect every coach, every federation and every athlete. I’m sure this is what will help fight corruption and bureaucracy.
For people who want to do sport, for their children and teenagers the communities should be build, where they can find each other and fulfill their potential. I believe that the portal Mixsport will give such an opportunity. So use it and enjoy it! And of course, play sports! ”.
